Privacy policy

This site is operated by France for Americans ("we"). This page explains what data the site touches and why. The short version: we collect very little, and none of it is sold.
What we collect
Analytics. We use Vercel Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without tracking you across sites. We see aggregate numbers, not individuals.
Newsletter. If you join the mailing list, we store your email address with our email provider (Resend) and use it only to send the newsletter. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list.
Contact form. Messages you send us arrive by email and are kept only as long as needed to reply and keep context.
Checklists. Checklist progress on guides is stored in your own browser (localStorage). It never leaves your device and we cannot see it.
What we do not do
We do not run advertising trackers, we do not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing, and we do not profile visitors.
Affiliate links
Some outbound links may be affiliate links, meaning we can earn a commission if you sign up for a service through them. Pages containing affiliate links say so. This never affects what we recommend and involves no transfer of your personal data by us.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you. For any request, contact us at the address on the contact page.
Changes
We will update this page when practices change and adjust the date above.
